SourceMedical Targets Specialty Hospitals with New Vision SH

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – September 23, 2009 – Expanding upon the success of its Vision software, SourceMedical today announced Vision for Specialty Hospitals (Vision SH).  This Web-enabled solution offers comprehensive clinical, financial and administrative capabilities, plus a fully integrated electronic health records (EHR) application that provides specialty hospitals with a consistent workflow within a core application resulting in greater efficiency and cost savings.

Vision SH is customizable and scalable to meet the unique needs of specialty hospitals.  It provides full integration with Vision EHR and Vision ASC as well as integration with third-party systems for greater flexibility and growth.  Seamless integration also eliminates a number of time-consuming manual processes, enabling staff to spend more time focusing on improving service to patients and physicians.

 

This single database eliminates the need to purchase additional middleware or interface software. In addition to providing a consistent interface, users may also manage security permissions, staff roles and all other application preferences from within Vision SH. Included in the suite of applications are order entry, department-level charge entry, enterprise search capability, automated patient alerts/ notifications, collections manager and much more.
