TherapySource and VisionShare help Therapy Clinics with Medicare Caps

Birmingham, Ala., - May 1, 2009 – SourceMedical, a leading provider of outpatient information management solutions, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with VisionShare, a leader in secure ehealth connectivity services. TherapySource, Source Medical’s leading clinical documentation and administration system will work with VisionShare Secure Exchange Software so outpatient rehabilitation providers can access Medicare Part B cap information online from the Professional Provider Telecommunication Network (PPTN). PPTN is a view into the CMS Common Working File database to view beneficiary eligibility, claim status and more.

TherapySource was developed specifically for physical, occupational and speech therapy clinics. SourceMedical’s therapy software enables facilities to capture and manage more comprehensive, accurate clinical documentation at the point of care. With this new partnership, SourceMedical customers will be encouraged to utilize VisionShare Secure Exchange Software to access the PPTN system. PPTN provides real-time access which allows providers to check claim status, pending claims, accounts receivable details and other billing information.
